Grant is an experienced Solicitor-Advocate specialising in litigation and dispute resolution.
He has a proven track record of settling and litigating a broad spectrum of claims for businesses and individuals. His focus is on evaluating and prioritising client objectives and his analytical skills and attention to detail frequently produce creative and practical solutions for his clients.
In respect of property, Grant has experience in acting for and against landlords, tenants, purchasers, sellers, owners, lenders, and insurers. He’s advised on a wide variety of claims, including commercial and residential possession, the recovery of arrears, disrepair, relief from forfeiture, wrongful forfeiture, breach of covenant, breach of contract, and claims arising from various types of trust and proprietary estoppel. Grant can also advise on the enforcement of security held over land and on the enforcement of judgments and orders made by the courts.
Outside of property, Grant’s main area of practice is commercial litigation, with a particular interest in minority shareholder and corporate governance claims.
Grant is also able to advise on breach of contract claims, professional negligence claims, financial services regulatory claims, pension claims, IP infringement, construction and engineering claims, and corporate insolvency and bankruptcy claims, including those requiring freezing orders and other urgent interim relief, both domestically and worldwide.
